
When can I drop my vehicle off?
Vehicles can be dropped off in the lot assigned to Mr. Car Shipper (MCS) in the start town between the hours of 1pm and 7pm on Day 0.
When can I pick up my vehicle?
As soon as you arrive at the end, your vehicle will be ready for you. You only need to go to the lot assigned to MCS, complete the check out procedures, and drive away!
Where will my vehicle be kept?
Your vehicle will be kept in a lot assigned to Mr. Car Shipper in the start town until it is transported to a lot in the end town.
Do I need to leave my keys with you?
Yes. Your vehicle will be driven onto the trailer that will transport it to the end town. Your keys will be held by MCS staff in a locked container until given to the driver of the transport.
Are there additional fees for the parking lots?
No. The fee you paid for transport covers all expenses associated with this transport.
Is Mr. Car Shipper a broker?
Yes, as are most other vehicle shipping companies. No carrier in the U.S. owns enough trucks and trailers to service the entire nation. Auto transport brokers like Mr. Car Shipper are necessary to connect someone who needs to ship a vehicle with a reputable carrier that’s on the right route at the right time.
How does payment work?
After you register your vehicle, you will be emailed an invoice. A $100 deposit is due within 2 weeks of receiving the invoice. The remaining balance is due by 6/30/26. The invoice will contain a link for you to provide payment information.
Is my vehicle insured during transport?
Absolutely. Mr. Car Shipper only works with carriers who have a minimum $100,000 of coverage per incident. On top of that, Mr. Car Shipper also maintains our own insurance policy that provides an additional $100,000 in contingent coverage, something 9 out of 10 brokers do not provide.
Your insurance is responsible for covering any damage or incidents that may occur while stored in the lot awaiting transport in the start town or awaiting pick up in the end town.
How will my vehicle be transported?
Your vehicle will be transported on an industry standard 8 vehicle open transport trailer pulled by a semi.
How do I prepare my vehicle for transport?
Make sure that your vehicle is free of personal items. Remove any bike racks that are connected to the outside of the vehicle and store them in the interior of the vehicle for transport. We also recommend that your vehicle exterior be clean enough to see the condition of the vehicle. This enables a proper inspection at pick up and delivery of the vehicle. Who can drop off and pick up my vehicle?
The person who booked the transport must be the person who drops off the vehicle. That person can designate other authorized people to pick up the vehicle if desired.
When will my vehicle get to the end town?
The transport of vehicles will begin on Day 1. It will take several days to transport all vehicles to the end town.
What if I need to pick up my vehicle early?
You may contact MCS to find out if your vehicle is in the start town or end town. You may go to that location and pick it up.
Can I get a refund?
You are eligible for a full refund prior to 6/30/26. Cancelations after this date are not refundable.
What vehicles CAN be shipped?
Consumer cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans with maximum dimensions of 215” long x 84” wide x 84” high are eligible for transport.
What vehicles CAN'T be shipped?
Vehicles with dually as well as 3/4 ton or larger trucks, RVs, van conversions or any vehicle that exceeds the maximum dimensions is ineligible for transport.
What about bike racks?
If the rack is removable it must be taken off and placed inside the vehicle for transport. If the rack is a permanent fixture of the vehicle it may remain in place as long as it does not exceed the dimensions listed in “What vehicles CAN be shipped?”.
